Devon MacEachron, Ph.D.

Dr. Devon MacEachron earned her B.A. from Amherst College, her M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. She practices as a Licensed Psychologist in New York State. Devon has conducted research and authored academic articles on the role of processing speed in reading development, math disability, ADHD, giftedness, talent development, and academic motivation. As a clinician, she writes and speaks about parenting children for high potential, twice-exceptionality, and the strengths associated with being wired differently by virtue of having a brain with dyslexia, ADHD, or Asperger’s. Devon and her husband live on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. Their children, recent graduates of an Ivy League university and a liberal arts college, are both twice-exceptional. As a parent who has been “in the trenches” herself, she brings empathy along with years of direct parenting experience to her work as a psychologist. Her background in business and MBA inform her strategic and practical, action-oriented approach. She considers it her personal mission to help parents and students navigate the passage from assessment through diagnosis and educational planning with the confidence that they have an expert adviser and partner by their side.
