I opened my New York-based psychology practice in 2014 to meet the educational planning and psychoeducational assessment needs of families of bright learners seeking to optimize learning and achievement. My distinctive competence is in working with students who are bright and who may also have subtle or not-so-subtle learning weaknesses in areas such as reading, math, writing, oral language, attention, social, emotional, or behavioral functioning, and/or executive function. I have a strengths-based and positive psychology perspective. My mission is to help position students to achieve their goals and dreams, and for parents to feel confident that they are doing the best for their child in ways that will make a real difference in their child’s life for years to come.
